Way Overdue for a Charge!

I am at the Applecreek rest area on I-94, just east of Bismarck. I left Minot fairly early as I had no battery power left to do anything but run the fridge. Thankfully, I am headed for hookups!

The forecast lied in that today was supposed to be sunny, but it’s still rainy. Gah.

Thank you to the DOT for this excellent wifi signal that my iPad had no trouble picking up!

  1. Hurrah! you made it to the US with no trouble. We are just home from our big six week adventure to Florida and we have been thinking of you. Those wifi signals can be a pain in the ……Busy unpacking the motorhome…

  2. Norma, this was my second easiest crossing in the US. Nothing will ever beat number one, so that’s high praise!

Thankfully, I’m not relying on wifi while here since I have a cellular connection, similar to what I have in Canada. But it was nice not to have to fire up the laptop this morning to check my email. 🙂

  3. I don’t understand why your house batteries are not getting charged off the rig’s alternator…that was always the fastest way to charge my batteries. It seems like on the days you are driving you ought to arrive with your batteries fully charged…or am I missing something?

  4. Kathe, my batteries do charge on long driving days (I had a good charge when I pulled in yesterday), but I was stopped in Weyburn for three nights.
