    • I think you would enjoy this salad.

      The shrimp were a NIGHTMARE. The recipe calls for itty bitty nordic shrimp (crevettes de Matane), which of course you can’t get here. I didn’t want to go through the hassle of buying, cooking, peeling, cooking, and chopping the huge local shrimp so I took the lazy route of buying a bag of small frozen shrimp from elsewhere (probably China). Ha! I understood why the bag was quite inexpensive (only about $120) since I had to devein the entire bag of tiny shrimp and remove the shell on about a third of them. So much work! But it was worth it. 🙂

      • I wonder if they were farmed shrimp. In Canada they are often from China and much cheaper. That was a lot of prep and not fun.

        • They were the perfect shrimp for this salad, though, in terms of taste and texture so it was worth it. 🙂
