Five Inches Short (Actually Ten)

Dang!

I found an ad on Craigslist yesterday for free peach-coloured blinds. No sizes given and no desire to give them. I thought that I would take a chance that they would fit the study windows since peach would fit in with the colour scheme here. Got them home and found them all to be 33″ wide. Two would fit the back window fine, but the side windows are 38″ wide. Not hugely disappointed as their peach is my pink, which would have still worked here but been PINK (Comment on September 11th, 2016 re PINK: HA HA HA HA HA HA HA) . They’re also not in great shape, so I won’t feel bad just tossing them in the dumpster. Oh well, nothing ventured, nothing gained!

Back to Craigslist I go. I know there are blinds out there for this room with strangely sized windows. I just know it! 🙂

Strange Weather Phenomena

I was awoken this morning by the strangest thing in the sky. It hurt my eyes to look at it, so bright was it. I didn’t even have to turn on a single light in the RV this morning because of it. I didn’t have to research this phenomenon because I’ve experienced it before, but it was so long ago that I did have to think about its name for a second before it came to me. Finally, I clued in:

SUNSHINE!!!!!!!!!

We have had seventeen solid days of sun and/or fog with only the briefest little glimpse of blue sky, but no full sun.

It feels SO nice!!!
