So, how did she react? Looks very alert in this pic!
She did make a beeline for the street, looked around, and then pulled me back into the yard. I’m starting to think that I might be able to open the gates, pull out with the truck, and shut them without her running away. But I’m not quite ready to test it. I could see her mind going “Street=burning feet, no mommy; house=cool feet, water, mommy.”
My new friend is going to get his yard cleaned up and once it is, I’ll be able to test Bonita there as far as how much she sticks to me and comes when she’s called.
