{"id":22391,"date":"2011-08-10T19:46:12","date_gmt":"2011-08-11T02:46:12","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/travelswithmiranda.uskeba.ca\/?p=12757"},"modified":"2016-09-17T17:29:33","modified_gmt":"2016-09-17T14:29:33","slug":"how-i-started-rving","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.raecrothers.ca\/blog\/how-i-started-rving\/","title":{"rendered":"How I Started RVing"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a href=\"http:\/\/croftsmexico.blogspot.com\/2011\/08\/how-i-started-rving.html\">Croft just posted a great story about how he started RVing<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>For newer readers who might not have read back to the beginning of the blog, here&#8217;s the short story of how I started RVing:<\/p>\n<p>-sometime around 2005, a <a href=\"http:\/\/ourodyssey.blogspot.com\">blog<\/a> made me notice RVs for the first time and I had a revelation: hey, I could have a home AND be able to travel!<\/p>\n<p>-in early 2008 I attended an RVing show;<\/p>\n<p>-later that spring, I toured a friend&#8217;s Gulfstream Hurricane class A;<\/p>\n<p>-on that same weekend, I slept in my mother&#8217;s pop-up camper, my first time overnighting in an RV!<\/p>\n<p>-in July I bought a motorhome;<\/p>\n<p>-in September I hit the road full-time.<\/p>\n<p>That sums it up quite nicely.
