The last few days have been a bit of a blur. I’ve done really well earnings-wise for October and will be able to take the time off I need to make sure the house in Chelem is ready for its owners and that the house in M\u00e9rida is ready for her renter. \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n
Today was a really good day in that I got a bunch of super lucrative rush jobs that took no time at all to complete. So even with all the work on my plate, I still had time to run into Chelem midafternoon to get Puppy some wet food and to test my truck again (it definitely is doing something I don’t like in low gear, but still felt and sounded better than it did coming home on Tuesday). I decided to treat myself for dinner tonight the way I did on Fridays in Maz and got myself some hot dog fixings and beer for dinner. \ud83d\ude42 Somehow, even with interruptions, I was done by 6:40. Then again, I was at work very early.<\/p>\n
The only thing on the calendar for tomorrow are my garden and pool chores and to take Puppy to the vet for a follow-up appointment. That will be a welcome break.<\/p>\n
Sunday, I’m going to my house to see if I can line up a plumber to change my kitchen tap so I can really start setting up that room. I got a couple of quotes for moving the desk and liked one company because of the questions they asked, so I’ll be booking them for Wednesday or next Saturday (hopefully Wednesday).<\/p>\n
My time here at the beach really is coming to a close. I still have no idea where the summer went — I know I missed a lot, but I had to type. I’m going to try to keep up this pace through the end of the year and then in 2018, I’m going to start working at taking at least one scheduled weekend off a month so I can begin to enjoy all that M\u00e9rida has to offer me.<\/p>\n
I’ve been feeling really blessed these past few weeks. Blessed to be somewhere that I can handle with aplomb anything life throws at me. Blessed to be in good health. Blessed to be in such good weather. Blessed to have people who care about the little mundane things of my life. Blessed to have gone through what I’ve gone through in the past to give me the certainty that I’m exactly where I need to be.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
