I&#8217;m still afraid to Google what it is exactly:<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/travelswithmiranda.uskeba.ca\/?attachment_id=16658\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-16658\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-medium wp-image-16658\" src=\"http:\/\/travelswithmiranda.uskeba.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/01\/0102131352-300x225.jpg\" alt=\"0102131352\" width=\"300\" height=\"225\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>It is called a &#8216;chitterling loaf&#8217; and there is a label that says &#8216;cooked pork chitterlings and pork stomachs, gelatin added.&#8217; The ingredients are pork chitterlings, pork stomachs, water, vinegar, salt, gelatin, and pepper. My most educated guess is that this is akin to head cheese.<\/p>\n<p>Okay, okay, the things I do for this blog. OMG, chitterlings are the intestines of a pig. And you&#8217;re supposed to eat this stuff cold on crackers. Note to self: if someone offers you chit&#8217;lins, smile, close your eyes, and remember you like raw fish.<\/p>\n<p>Something else caught my eye and made me jump, but for what reason I cannot fathom:<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/travelswithmiranda.uskeba.ca\/?attachment_id=16659\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-16659\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-medium wp-image-16659\" src=\"http:\/\/travelswithmiranda.uskeba.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/01\/0102131354-225x300.jpg\" alt=\"0102131354\" width=\"225\" height=\"300\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Eating pigs&#8217; feet is part of my culture! Only, I&#8217;ve never seen the pig feet like these, only all yummied up in my aunt&#8217;s <a href=\"http:\/\/www.grouprecipes.com\/75040\/quebec-ragout-de-pattes-et-boulettes-pork-hocks-stew-and-meatballs.html\">rago\u00fbt de pattes de cochons<\/a>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Every time I visit the grocery store, I see something that makes me think, &#8220;I&#8217;ve got to take a picture of that!&#8221; Today, I finally did.
