When I take her out next week, probably Wednesday, I&#8217;ll have to add these things to the departure checklist:<\/p>\n<p>-dewinterize the plumbing and check for leaks<\/p>\n<p>-start up the fridge and make sure it runs on both 120V and propane<\/p>\n<p>-fill up the water heater and make sure it fires up<\/p>\n<p>This is in addition to:<\/p>\n<p>-checking tire pressure<\/p>\n<p>-having the <a href=\"http:\/\/travelswithmiranda.uskeba.ca\/?p=12810\">front passenger wheel retorqued<\/a><\/p>\n<p>-getting fuel and propane<\/p>\n<p>-taking on water<\/p>\n<p>-topping up the distilled water in the batteries<\/p>\n<p>It&#8217;s incredible that I am counting down to departure in days now, and that two weeks from now will find me back in North Dakota.<\/p>\n<p>I thought I would feel anxious about getting back out on the road, but nope, I am only excited!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Since Miranda has essentially been in storage for the last six months, I have a few things to do that weren&#8217;t necessary the last time I spent six months in one location (Campbell River).
